It is my pleasure to invite you to our Ninth Annual Dinner Auction to be held at the Marriott West on Saturday, November 2, 2013. I hope that you will join us as we gather in “The Enchanted Forest” to celebrate our partnership as companions on your children’s educational journey.
Proceeds from the Annual Dinner Auction and Golf Tournament are the only source of revenue generated specifically for our Technology Department. Each year, technology is incorporated to a greater extent in daily instruction. As I mentioned at Back-to-School Night last month, I have “charged” some purchases for this school year, borrowing from the proceeds of what I hope will be a very successful Dinner Auction! We have already purchased and installed four new MimioTeach Interactive Whiteboards and the Destiny Quest Library Inventory and Circulation Management System. Four IPads were purchased for a pilot program in our Junior Kindergarten in which Mr. Meesey will instruct the students in the use of educational applications that support handwriting, letter and number recognition, and sounds.
